Our home is the perfect place for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Enjoy unobstructed views of Hamlin Lake each day! Our home comfortably sleeps 7 and we have recently added a new king bed! Please note our rooms do not have closets but each room has a dresser or shelves to use. All bedrooms are upstairs. No smoking allowed anywhere inside the home. We are located steps away from the public boat launch, and there are posted no swimming signs next to the launch for the safety of all groups. We offer two free kayaks to explore all that Hamlin Lake has to offer, and are just a short trip away from the trails and beach at Ludington State Park and the Nordhouse Dunes.

We have two brand new kayaks for renters to use! We have one S/M and one L/XL life jacket to use.

This place was very restful, and the house contained everything we needed to prepare meals. Wood was supplied for the outside firepit, and everything was clean and tidy. I would rent this place again.

Maddy and Shawn were absolute amazing host! Such a great place to stay for any occasion. The house was amazing had anything and everything we could think off. Great communication, very helpful and willing to do whatever was needed. Truly thankful for the opportunity to stay would definitely stay again 10/10 recommend!

We (husband, 2 sons, me + 2 of their friends for a couple of nights) had a great time staying on Hamlin Lake. We are not boaters so we were fascinated by all the boats going in and out. The house was just the right amount of space for us. We spent a lot of time on the deck. Air conditioning helped on the hotter days. We had a couple of issues that Shawn responded to very quickly. Bryan (handyman) handled everything professionally and without interrupting us at all. One of our sons and his friends also went spear fishing with Bryan one night and had a great time.

My family & I had a wonderful time staying at Shawn’s Airbnb! He was really responsive & proactive! I really appreciated that. I also appreciated how clean his place was. We loved being on the lake, the fire-pit, the park across the street . We had a very special time together there & will always have those special memories.Shawn’s place is in a great location too! We shopped downtown Luddington, went fishing, went swimming in Lake Michigan , enjoyed hiking - 2 different trails, ate dinner at Styx & ate ice cream across the street. What a great location!!!😀Thank you Shawn for everything you did to provide everything we needed for a wonderful vacation!

We loved our stay in Shawn’s house. We were with our son, his wife and their two boys and had a wonderful week that included the Fourth of July. The house was immaculate. The house was stocked with paper products, kitchen dishes, bed and bath linens for us to use. The neighborhood was friendly and our grandsons had a wonderful time fishing from the dock. We sat on the deck and watched the fireworks across the lake. The house is very close to Ludington State Park, excellent beaches and a lighthouse nearby. Shawn was helpful if we needed him and responded to our questions very quickly. I recommend this place to anyone and we hope to go back.
